Jazz is a type of music borned in the late nineteenth century in the United States, at New Orleans.
Thanks to the Mississippi river jazz music was expanded to the United States.
Jazz music came from black slaves who created music to express the feelings of rejection from the white race. They met in local neighborhoods where they lived together, and when they began to have first salaries, they began to buy instruments and created jazz.
From jazz came many changes in music styles, two of the most famous were the pop and rock.
