Fauna and flora of Spain
It is called "fauna" to all the animals of a geographical region. Species of a particular geological period or ecosystem form this group, whose survival and development depend on biotic and abiotic factors.
"Flora" are all the plant species that are in a certain region or the discipline and the documents that are in charge of their study.
The Spanish
fauna, one of the most varied of the European continent, include species such
as the wolf, bear, lynx, wild cat, fox, wild boar, ibex, deer and hares. Birds
are abundant, with numerous species of raptors such as eagles, vultures, bearded vultures, hawks, hawks, owls and owls, as well as cranes,
bustards, flamingos, herons and ducks. Insects also abound. In streams and
mountain lakes there are common fishes such as barbel, tench and trout.
The vegetation of Spain varies depending on factors such as relief, climate or latitude, among others. Each one with its own floristic characteristics resulting to a good extent from the interaction of different biotic and abiotic factors.
Within the European territory, Spain has the largest number of plant species (7,600 vascular plants) from all European countries.
In my opinion, I think that the fauna and the flora is very important, for that reason we have to take care of the environment as much as possible.
